Archimedes kite as KUL logo

The catholic university of Leuven has started a new faculty "industrial science". In this faculty a number of schools for industrial engineers are grouped.

 (I am a "industrial engineer" myself) They have chosen the Archimedes screw kite as logo for their promotion campaign.

 The flyer below describes the story how the screw came to be.
De katholieke universiteit van Leuven heeft vandaag een nieuwe faculteit gelanceerd de faculteit voor industriële wetenschappen. 

Deze groepeert een aantal (niet alle) hogescholen voor industrieel ingenieurs. (Zo ben ik er een) 

Al Logo voor hun campagne hebben ze de Archimedes schroef gekozen. zie bijgevoegde flyer
